Individual Therapy for Women
Hello ladies and welcome!
Let get to what’s bugging you. For starters, women are socialized to be multi-taskers and often place their own needs behind the needs of others. If this continues, women often find themselves frustrated, confused, angry, stressed or anxious – or a combination of all. If this sounds familiar to you, there is a high likely-hood that something is missing in your life. You may have felt this way for a while but you haven’t been able to come up with the time, the resources or the self-kindness that allows you to move toward a greater sense of happiness. But consider that these are excuses (or barriers) that have been designed by our society to keep you focused on the “greater good.” It then follows that women have been conditioned to believe that taking time out for themselves is selfish or proves an inadequacy of some sort.
At Therapy Core, we see women (and girls) for issues such as depression, body image, self-esteem, relationships difficulties, boundaries and assertiveness, time and stress management, trauma, fears, anxiety, career/school transitions, adjustments to difficult life events (divorce, loss, financial struggles, illness, pressures, parenting, etc.), intimacy needs, sexual identity, etc.
Your first step as a new client is to send an email or make a phone call to Therapy Core. After your questions have been answered, you will set up an appointment time for an intake. This meeting runs for 60-90 minutes and information about your specific needs is gathered. From here, a treatment plan is established between you and your therapist. You will have a clear understanding of what therapy will be like and what you can expect to gain. Sessions generally meet one or two times per week for 60 minutes per session. Therapy Core does not accept insurance but you will be provided a bill for services so that you are able to access out-of-network benefits from your insurance carrier.
Continue to take a look around at who we are and what we offer. Then make that call. It could be the smartest thing you ever did for yourself.
