An alternative to litigation.
Mediation provides you with the option of attending meetings together (you and your spouse) instead of attending meetings with your lawyers – separately. Why is this helpful? You are faced with the daunting task of making life altering decisions regarding your futures and the futures of your children. As a mediator, it is my belief that these decisions should be made in the presence of one another and through collaborative agreement. You have the option through mediation, even when there is anger and pain, to come to agreements and conclusions that make sense for both of you. You have the option of building some trust between you so that your children are able to benefit from parents that are able to communicate, be effective problem solvers and resolve issues logically and peacefully.
